Our workshop
The shed for Saturday Drawing is getting to be very fine - full of useful collected toot and just the right side of messy.Old filing boxes full of letter stamps and spirograph.
Every kind of tape, staple or glue you could wish for.
A fine array of plants, naturally.
Pegs and string up in the ceiling for hanging up any work you want to get a little perpsective on.
Sixties plastic doilies for printing with.
Inks, concoctions and bookbinding bits.
Nice old school chairs and a table from my great grandmother.
All sorts of wire.
All the mark making stuff, rulers and stationery. I like this corner cupboard a lot, it's a mess but it's the most used and it's got so many inspiring bits-and-bobs floating around in it.And all around the top of the place, in the eaves, lives the collection of vases. It's a nice place to work.
Saturday just gone
We made landscapes using mono-printing techniques, thinking about depth and distance.
